After reading the conversations in this mailing list for a while, it
occurred to me that most of the topics seem to concern getting X to run.
Lot's of exchanges regarding config files, tips and tricks. I was
wondering how you folks felt about a repository for XF86Config files
slanted towards Thinkpads. I did a cursory search on Google and found a
couple of sites that have collections but none geared towards strictly
Thinkpad users and none with a complete list (if my antique 760LD ain't
there, it ain't complete).
Basically I envision a page listing the different Thinkpad models with
their video cards and links to the X config file(s). All files would be
contributed by members on this list and possibly have short notes
included (like, the model number of the TP).
Please let me know what you think of this idea. And if there is already
a site like this, I'm not going to reinvent it.
Thanks,
