[ltp] Serial problems with A30

I am unable to utilize the serial port on my newly arrived A30. I've
tried to read up on this, but I have too little time to test out
everyting. I've downloaded tpctl, but haven't tested it, nor have I
downloaded a new kernel to compile in lspnp-support. I will though, if
anyone suggests so.

Anyway, the windows partition seems to be able to use both the IR and
the serial port out of the box.

Anybody seasoned that can shed some light on this?
