All-

On my Thinkpad 600e, I had Windows XP and RD 7.2 installed with no problems.
I got my hands on another hard drive so I wanted to remove RD 7 and install
it on my new drive. Reading Redhat website, I booted the thinkpad using a
bootdisk to the command prompt. I issued a fdisk /mbr and did a reboot. I
forgot I had the redhat cd in my drive so the installer kicked in after I
booted. I cancelled out of the installer, and rebooted. While WinXP was
loading I noticed I cant open my drive, nor is it detected after I booted.

How can I fix this? Why would Linux disable the CD drive? It was working
before the the installer kicked it otherwise it would have bypassed it.

Thanks for any help.
