Printing presents similar minor annoyances. I have my network set up so
that
the Linux boxes run CUPS locally and that prints to the remote windows
print
queue.
<snip annoyances>
I use a linux box at college to access the NT/Novell network here. I
use pdq (http://pdq.sourceforge.net/) for printing - easy to setup and
I've never had any trouble with it, even on our Novell network.
Also, I would recommend the ncpfs
(ftp://platan.vc.cvut.cz/pub/linux/ncpfs/) tools for accessing network
drives. I couldn't get the printing part of it going though - and
didn't bother trying once I found pdq.
Hth, Chris.
