[ltp] Strange floppy problem solved

To whom it may concern,

I don't know whether my 'discovery' is new, but I thought I'd pass it along
just in case. I had many difficulties in getting the floppy drive in my
Thinkpad 600E to work (see my message on the 16th of November, 2001).
Following the documentation of the floppy driver, I had appended a
'floppy=thinkpad' line to my kernel parameter list. But the problems
remained: mounting worked, but trying to read or write something to the
floppy drive failed. Then I tried *removing* the above line, and hey presto,
my drive worked flawlessly.

Moral: apparently the 'floppy=thinkpad' line can cause more harm than good
on certain systems.

Kind regards,
Maarten
