Sorry, did not know the -XXX was part of the system ID. It is a 2366-R6G=

Well, did exactly as you wrote, and still get 1024x768. I looked at the=20
generated XF86Config and it looks clean...
- From /var/log/XFree86.0.log:
(II) RADEON(0): Primary Display =3D=3D Type 2
(II) RADEON(0): Panel ID string: 1024x768
(II) RADEON(0): Panel Size from BIOS: 1024x768
? There's nothing in the BIOS that looks obvious to me.
Am I getting close to figuring out what the deal is?
