The f11 for the recovery partition is from IBMs little 'multiboot' loader.
Since you overlay it with grub, you don't get the message.  However, you
can tell grub to boot the hidden partition and do the recover from it.
Despite the warnings... the recover partition ONLY hits C:

Finally, get the CDs and live without the recover partition.
And really finally, if you NEED to us the recovery CD's, on boot up, do NOT
have TP do one time boot from CDs.  You MUST change the bootlist to CD
because there are successive reboots during the install and if you do the
temporary one, the 2nd and so on will come from the harddisk.  Doesn't 
lead to a successful restore.
