Hello everyone.
I have not been able to install the driver for this card. I am using Mandrake 9 (it comes with the latest cardmgr 3.2 and the xircom drivers). Now, here is the thing. Mandrake did not find the ethernet device while installing it, so I end up canceling the network config and proceed the installation.
I modify the config.opts to exclude the ports that the internal modem uses, I also exclude IRQ 5 and 3 for the sound and the modem. I inserted the card and ran the cardctl ident 1 and it detected as Xircom CBE II 10/100 when in the card itself says RBE-100. Anyway, I added in the config file a definition based on the manfid and binded to the xircom_cb driver (it supposed to be the new one according to the help in the menuconfig). Here is the problem, when I insert he card there are a bunch of errors being thrown in the /var/log/messages related to the USB-uhci driver not being able to load and device not found. What in the world does the card has to do with USB?.
PLEASE HEEELP!.. i have been working on this for a week now!. :(
Thanks
