I upgraded my 380Z PII 233 to a PII 333 I bought on ebay
for $40.00 US. It was easy!
I also upgraded a 380XD Pentium 233 to a PII 266! I
flashed the BIOS with 380 PII BIOS, shut it down,
replaced the processor and done!
I would do it if I were you. But, IBM says processor
upgrades are not possible.
