I would gladly use for for the mean time but the system does not boot 99
out of 100 times or so (seriously) because it throws up a
trackpoint-related error code during POST and throws me into the BIOS
where I can run a test. Once in a while it won't throw the error code
up and the system will boot into Linux, wherein with a mouse attached
the trackpoint is turned off and I have a usable thinkpad again.
'any way to turn off the trackpoint so that it's not "tested" during
POST? I looked in the BIOS options and didn't see anything like that...
