[ltp] Serial port on Thinkpad 600x (Mandrake 9.0)

Am I missing something?

I looked in the BIOS, and didn't see anything relating to a serial port.

The BIOS being the screen with a black background with the works 
"Thinkpad" in light grey at an angle, a screen with a green background 
and white border entitled "Easy-setup", and a bird-cursor?

I have
-Config
-Date/Time
-Password
-Startup
-Restart

After clicking config, I have:
-Memory
-System Board
-Display
-Network
-Asset ID
-Quick Boot
-CPU
-Boot Menu
-Initialise

Where would I find the serial port setup?
