[ltp] modem question

 'm new this forum, so I hope this is proper.


I have installed redhat 7.3 on an IBM thinkpad 390 with the gnome interface. it
has an integrated modem. When I try to configure an internet connection with 
the wizard, it probed for a modem, but doesn't find one. 

Can you please help.... Things to try? Everything else appears to function just
fine....
