Ok, thanks to help from people on this list, I'm making baby steps but progressing steadily. I got the modem driver working, and I even put the mwaved driver script into /etc/rc.d/init.d. However, I need the chkconfig tool to configure the script to run when booting. I found the chkconfig man page, but I can't find the tool itself anywhere on my file system. Where does it live?
Sincerely,
Jeffrey Glen Rennie
