=09560,760,600,570 are old name of thinkpad ,
from last of 2001 , IBM named ThinkPad with AXTiS
some time later ,I change to be R,then Thinkpad have
ATXRS five kind.

How long does it take you to get to that point?  The connection might be 
timing out, on one end or the other.

For the record, when I first decided to get into Linux, I only had 
access to a dial-up connection.  So instead of trying to download ISOs, 
I got Debian ("potato") CDs from www.edmunds-enterprises.com.  I was 
quite pleased with the whole experience.
