[ltp] question about T30 compatibility

I've burned data CD-Rs and CD-RWs with my T30 under Linux with
cdrecord and it's worked just fine.  I've continued work as
normal while the CDs were being written without trouble.  I
haven't tried ripping or writing audio CDs.
