Also make sure that booting the machine without ac power does not have
negative effects on playback - I read something about this on the
mplayer site, and it certainly has awful effects on my A20p, like a
totally confused focus management in X. No idea why that happens or
what can be done against it, but luckily suspend works very well, so I
always boot up when ac is available and just put it in suspend mode
instead of switching it off.
