BTW, you can try the re-patched libqt3 by doing this as root:

# urpmi \
http://ftp.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/contrib/texstar/linux/distributions/mandrake/9.1/rpms/i586/libqt3-3.1.1-14tex.i586.rpm

(you may need a few others from the same directory.
