Just read only one mail more carefully...
Go to:
http://mailman.linux-thinkpad.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-thinkpad (This url=
 can be found at the end of every mail going to this list)
and scroll to the end of this site.
There you find the following option:
 "To change your subscription (set options like digest and delivery modes, =
get a reminder of your password, or unsubscribe from Linux-Thinkpad), enter=
 your subscription email address"

It's very easy, isn't it?
