no, it's only a subdirectory from my Debian-on-R40 HowTo (in german only, sorry).
Although I changed the debian build scripts to work with the new modules suffix .ko,
but the Makefile should work everywhere. You only need to copy the modules
into the right directory. For Debian everything works fine and "alone" ;-)
