[ltp] Problems with ppp_compress

Listers:

I receive the following errors when using my Samsung A500 to connect to 
the Internet and is recorded in my logs under RH9:

 ppp-compress-21: 20 Time(s)

How do I enable this process as I think this is causing the connection 
to the Internet to fail.
