It must be something that my workplace has filtered in some strange
way.

Tried all of the various options suggested, but to no avail. Both IE on
Windoze and Netscape 7.0 on my HP-UX box return things like invalid
statements even when I try to use the IP address.

I'll try from home tonight and see if that makes a difference.
