[ltp] does not wake up after sleep

One more discovery about the screen that goes black but not dark:

The Fn-F3 key combination, at least in my case, does not fix the
problem but it does reproduce it.  That is, turning off the display
will turn off both information and backlight.  Turning on the display
by repeating Fn-F3 will turn on the backlight but leave the
information invisible.
