Hi folks,
I tried to enable hibernation on my A30. I created 2 FAT16 partitions
at the beginning of the hard drive, 2 GB and 580 MB. The second one I
want to use for hibernation. However, after playing around with DOS
format and phdisk, one of my Linux partitions got trashed. I suppose
that DOS can not handle such a big harddisk very well, or it does not
like the partition table created with Linux fdisk. Furthermore,
phdisk.exe keeps complaining abount too less space to create an
hibernation file. I have 384 MB RAM installed.
How can I make hibernation work on my ThinkPad? Does lphdisk work on
this model? Or should I better use a Win98 installation CD to create a
minimal partition table that contains only 2 FAT16 partitions for
hibernation and Win98 and install Linux after that?
Regards,
Tino
