I got it working yesterday, using a bootable CD and the files from
stndalhd.exe copied to the FAT partition. Thanks for all your hints.

Yes, I never tried a partition, only when I used lphdisk (which only
supports hibernation partitions, not files, when I got this right)

Hum, I don't like reboots. Appart from that, typing login/password and
the passphrase for the SSH keys everytime I want so use the ThinkPad is
a pain. :-)

Thanks a lot, I will try it. I noticed that my X was locked after
resume from hibernation, although the machine was still running (reboot
was possible). This was strange, since I tried hibernation with a
Knoppix CD a week ago and resume was working. Apperently, the X
configuration did not use DRI. I will recheck this.
