Josh, I've noticed recently that the time is lost on my thinkpad 600e when
I turn it off
for extended periods and I get those errors. I was thinking that it was
the cmos clock
battery. I am now begining to wonder if it really is the battery that is
the cause. It seems
to me that the lithium battery should still be good for a laptop of this
age.
I am going to measure mine with a voltmeter and see if I can find out what
is going on.
It also might be a good idea to check the factory manual about cmos battery
replacement.
I'll check both and get back to you as this problem also troubles me.
