You think that's bad?  My Thinkpad 770X won't use 100MHz SODIMMS ...
period.  None of the memory on those shows up as usable memory -
though they will show up in Easy Setup.  In a 600, you can at least use
some of that RAM.

Given that the proper modules cost $20 or less per 128M stick, it's best
to just get the right RAM for the job anyhow. :)
