[ltp] X Dead on A21p after RH 9.0

Here's a follow-up on my situation:

Thanks to those who offered advice. The consensus seemed to be that
some X-related packages were horked. It was just as easy for me to do a
new RH9 install than locate/update the packages, so that's what I did.
I now have a working X environment. I'm not thrilled with RH9's
upgrade/install process. Obviously the upgrade caused me headaches, but
I also had to do two full, fresh installs before things worked. On the
first fresh install it errored out while trying to create a boot floppy
and then failed to boot Linux (no init= specified...). Next try was
100%. I guess third time's the charm for me. To offer some praise:
the installer dialog and menus are excellent. Very easy to perform
customizations to the configuration being installed.

Thanks again!
