I bought a generic firewire pc card for a friend (with a TI chipset, like
the IBM) and this one had the firewire ports built in. I believe it only
extended up, so a totally flat WiFi card *should* fit underneath it. I
never tried this card on Linux so I can't recommend it.

They have a note on the page that they will be releasing info about a new
version for the new iPods soon....
