[ltp] parallel port settings in BIOS not committed to CMOS

   Problem: the changes made while using the configuration utility on a A30P is not being committed to CMOS, i.e, it returns to its previous value. This is happening for the parallel port settings. I have changed some of the other parameters in the past and the changes were committed. Right now the machine boots only with the option 'OS Controlled' for the parallel port.
