Flip laptop upside down. Single door centered roughly where CD drive is,
held in place by one screw (towards front of machine). remove door.
2-wire lead going towards fron of machine is battery lead. Unhook and tug
gently. Battery slides right out.

Hmmm. I removed the cd from the slot, but how can i remove the door on
which the RAMs are installed? Do I have to unscrew something?
Should I be able to see the battery yet?
