It's also way out of date. Get Debian "Sarge" (aka Testing) for most of your
needs. You might even want to look at some stuff in "Sid" (aka Unstable)
like the latest version of KDE if you want to go the KDE route. What the
Debian collective calls "unstable" most other distros call "ripe and ready
for the picking."
You might also want to look at Mandrake...just make sure you use the "expert"
setup and be choosy about which packages you want to install. Mandrake 9.1
rocks.
