[ltp] R40 wlan / lcd display

hello.

since the builtin wlan doesnt work yet i tried using an elsa
airlancer mc-11 on pcmcia slot which is supported according to the
specs but i get

eth1: failed to initialize firmware (err = -19)
orinoco_cs: register_netdev() failed
orinoco_lock() called with hw_unavailable (dev=cfa03000)

the other (very) unfortunate thing that happened is that i put it in
suspend the other day and now the lcd display doesnt light up anymore. i
read that at least some 770 models had problems with backlight, but i
havent managed to get this one back alive with all my vudu. ;-/
maybe someone's got more.
