Currently running Linux in a VMWare 'shell' on a P2-266 sony VAIO with
only 256 MB RAM.
Works well, if I don't go bouncing back and forth too much. It is the
swapping in and out that kills it.

Have your project manager provide you with a copy of VMWare...

Sadly my project manager wants me to begin porting our software to Linux
WHILE maintaining the Windows version so that means I need a bigger
harddrive for my 600E.
-I am going to Fry's tonight so this is a time sensitive post, what hard
drives should I avoid, which do you recommend?
-What is the best way to move my 10gb WinXP partition to the new drive?
I
was thinking of creating a disk image, but if there is a bad bit
somewhere I
will be screwed. Any better suggestions? Thanks
