[ltp] IrDA connection between win98 and Linux

Hi folks,

I tried to connect my two ThinkPads using IrDA. This was no problem
when both run Linux, but I can get no TCP/IP connection if on of the
ThinkPads runs windows 98. ircp works, so I can exchange files. When I
tried to create a direct serial connection over the virtual COM-port
provided by the IrDA driver, windows says that the remote side is not
listening or the cable is not connected. Since the same setup works
betwenn 2 linux boxes and ircp is working between linux and windows, it
looks like I did something wrong in windows. Has anyone done this
before and can give me a few hints? Sorry for going off topic.

Regards,
Tino
