Got it running on a TP600E. Installation went easily. Didn't see the
soundcard(oh well, that's easily fixed by beating modules.conf into
submission with the proper application of vi). Didn't see the modem either..
I haven't had the time to really mess with it yet.. But from first
impression I just might switch from RH.. Depends what happens with RH
9.0(lots of rumors running around that alot of software breaks due to the
new streaming in the kernel) BTW a good place to scarf new stuff go to
ftp.rutgers.edu. Got 9.1 from there last night @498kb/s.

Hi,
If you have not already heard, the long awaited Linux distribution is
finally out, Mandrake 9.1 and Red-hat will be releasing a newer version, 9.0
early next month. But I cannot connect to the internet still with the new
mandrake and I am running thing it using vmware. I will appreciate any help
on this.
Have fun downloading and using Linux
