[ltp] Mandrake 9.1 on T20 woes

Hi!
Yesterday I upgraded from Mandrake 9.0 to the latest and greatest 9.1 on 
my ThinkPad T20.
I should have learned  by now that you should never fix what isn't 
broken....
Similarily to the newbie that wrote here previosly and that tried 9.1 on 
his T23, I can't get X to work at all.
Mandrake selects the "Savage (sw_cursor)" driver. It doesn't work. I 
also tried "Savage" and "Savage/MX",
but can't get any of them working. I finally gave up and installed 
Knoppix 3.2 on the harddisk instead...
It would be interesting though to understand what went wrong. Has anyone 
succeeded in getting a ThinkPad T2x
to run Mandrake 9.1?
