anybody gotten the tpm driver found at
http://www.research.ibm.com/gsal/tcpa/ to work? I hacked the makefile to
include the right libs, and added module versioning stuff, which finally
got rid of all the unresolved symbols. Trying to load the driver still
results in:
peter@gonzo peter $ sudo modprobe tpm
/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r4/misc/tpm.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r4/misc/tpm.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r4/misc/tpm.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r4/misc/tpm.o: insmod tpm failed
I've got all the chip setting enabled in BIOS, but the chip was recently
cleared of keys. Don't think the module would care about this though.
Anybody had any success/failures?
