I was able to get the cheap ($25.00 USD) Microsoft Mn-520 WiFi card to work
using the following:
I added to /etc/pcmcia/config file right after the line that reads "# Wireless
network adapters". :
card "Microsoft Wireless Notebook Adapter MN-520 1.0.3"
version "Microsoft", "Wireless Notebook Adapter MN-520", "", "1.0.3"
bind "orinoco_cs"
After a reboot, KDE control panel, under PCMCIA information showed a Microsoft
Wireless Notebook Adapter MN-520 card installed!!
Bill Gates would be proud his WiFi works so well in Redhat Linux 9.0!
For the price they are going for on eBay, he must be dumping them as surplus, a
happy day for Thinkpad users with Linux!!
