Sorry, I searched briefly on your page, and missed your paragraph on tpb
until just after I sent the mail ...
I don't have any issues with tpb on my 600X, but I don't have a Thinkpad
button of course ;-).

I submitted the changes to one of the kernel maintainers (kernel modules
belong in the kernel ...), and the thinkpad drivers are in since kernel
2.4.21-0.15mdk (it was too late for 9.1), and tpctl is in main.
I may consider putting the ones for the 9.1 kernel in the Mandrake Club,
I am also looking at making better packages for ltmodem (which will
probably be on Club for the unofficial kernel update which is coming).
BTW, I have write access to contrib
(http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/Buchan_Milne__bgmilne_linux-mandrake.com_.html),
so any other Thinkpad-related packages can easily find their way into
contrib. I didn't have much success myself with tp4d, but I can make a
package for you to test, and it if it works, we can get it in.
Regards,
Buchan
