Just out of interest, you /do/ know that the wireless card in (at least
my) A31p is supported just fine? (mine is the 2653-H5A hardware).
The IBM wireless card I got is a PRISM 2.5 device, and works fine with
either the in-kernel PRISM driver or the HostAP driver.
The A31p pre-dates the whole Intel Centrino mess, AFAIK.
