Hi Ken,
I have a 560z Running a Pent II 300Mhz. I run Vector Linux 4.0 (
http://www.vectorlinux.com ) (My Laptop does not have a CD-Rom so I use
a DOS Laplink 5 program to transfer to the laptop. ) Anyway, Latest
kernel with x.x.22 and X 4.3. Runs at a good pace. I tried some other
dist. but ran into LAG Problem. I use Ext.2 File system. When I use
Resizer or Ext.3 File system, I get lagging. ALSO, when way to stop
lagging in X with a Pent. II 300Mhz is to turn down from 24bit color to
16bit color. I see a BIG difference.
Hopefully this helps you out.
