Yep. No charge in the US if your order the CDs soon after purchasing your
Thinkpad. I believe that if you wait more than 30 days (or maybe it is
90?), then there is some fee.

IIRC, PC-Doctor (the diagnostic software) disappears. The normal BIOS
setup stuff remains.
