[ltp] anybody get apm suspend working with 2.6.0test4 t40p?

I've been struggling with this for a while now...

apm -s doesn't seem to do anything - n
it just stays the following  in /etc/daemon.log

Sep  3 00:18:13 up apmd[18670]: Proxy exited with status 1
Sep  3 00:18:13 up apmd[18670]: Suspend rejected by proxy
Sep  3 00:18:13 up apmd[18670]: Suspending now

cover closed  doesn't cause suspend in either X or in console

worked fine in 2.4.21...

any positive experiences?

I think i have everything else working in 2.6 but this is a deal
breaker...
