[ltp] Setting up extended desktop on 1200 i series TP

Hello all,

I hope someone can help me with a situtation that hopefully I can resolve.  I 
have a 17" CRT monitor that I want to use for extended desktop area in 
conjunction with the TP screen.  The problem is that I have never set up a 
system for extended desktop area before.  

If it is possible please share some tips.  If not then it gives me a good 
reason to get a new TP.
