[ltp] Mini-PCI 802.11b on R40?

I've been using the madwifi driver with my Mini-PCI IBM card (that
shipped with the t40p) for a while now with no major problems. Kismet
works with it as well. It isn't totally open source, but it works:

Use the CVS source as the tarball hasn't been updated in a while.

However, if I were buying something new, I'd probably look for a
tri-mode Mini-PCI card, but I don't know much about them. This one
seems to be tri-mode and uses the Atheros chipset (that is what is in
the IBM card):

But i have no idea if it would work on the thinkpads.

cheers,
