[ltp] Thinkpad T40 screen goes dead under Red Hat 9 ..

I just installed debian on mine.  It seems to do the same thing.  I haven't tried to fix it yet.  One work around that works for me is that if you attempt to wake it up, switch to a console, blank the screen (fn-f3) and then wake it back up it comes back alive.

Let me know if that works.  I am going to tweak X and see what I can do.
