[ltp] unable to upgrade BIOS on T40

Hi,

I had the same problem and asked the IBM helpcenter for a solution.
They told me to reenable the original bootsector, but this was not the 
solution.
So I have set the BIOS back to "default" settings and the update 
finished without any failure.
