Try either 2.6.0-test5-mm4 or 2.6.0-test6-mm1. Andrew Morton's patches
include ACPI version 20030916 and a required patch for the embedded
controller and battery status. There are still some issues suspending and
hibernating, but at least  thinkpads do not just "hang"
