[ltp] t41 external monitor

Hi there.

My T41 is running linux, with almost (at least what I
need) all the HW working properly. However I have a
major issue related to the usage of a external
monitor.

The LCD works like a charm at 1400x1050, however,
whenever I try to plug a monitor, either in the VGA
connector that the laptop has or trough the docking
station, I only can grab 640x(some other poor value) @
50Hz. No matter if I boot with the lid cosed. No
diffence, just big icons and a lot of flicker.
Can you share an idea on how to fix this behaivour?
