hmm. I use no magic, just configured the kernel:
CONFIG_INPUT_MOUSEDEV=3Dy
CONFIG_INPUT_MOUSEDEV_PSAUX=3Dy
CONFIG_INPUT_MOUSEDEV_SCREEN_X=3D1400
CONFIG_INPUT_MOUSEDEV_SCREEN_Y=3D105
CONFIG_INPUT_MOUSE=3Dy
CONFIG_MOUSE_PS2=3Dy
and use the synaptics driver from peter =F6sterlund=20
